I am excited to be part of the amazing Caritas Community. It is a true honor to partner with staff and parents to see scholars grow personally, intellectually and spiritually through God’s work.
Though I have always been a US citizen, I spent many of my childhood and adolescent years overseas. I was born in Prague, Czech Republic, to a missionary family serving overseas for now over 35 years. I had a privilege to teach at children’s Christian summer camps where I coordinated and assisted in sports/music activities and taught English as a second language to Native Czechs. I always aspired to be part of the mission work.
Over the years, I have grown to love teaching. My desire is to motivate and inspire students so they enjoy the learning process. I graduated from California State University, East Bay with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology. I obtained my Masters in Elementary Education from Arizona State University. Upon completing my Masters in Elementary Education at Arizona State University, I taught as a First-Grade teacher for six years at Great Hearts Academies. Great Hearts Academies is part of a network of classical liberal arts charter schools that offers a rich and robust classical curriculum with the emphasis on moral formation and the whole child.
Every day God continually reminds me of my complete and utter dependence on Him for absolutely everything. I am thankful for the peace in knowing Christ Jesus.
