Classical Christian Training in Education

It has been my greatest joy to serve the Lord in the special vocation of teaching children. Training hearts and teaching minds to His glory is the greatest privilege and highest calling one may contribute in the world with a heavenly reward. In His kind providence, I have taught the foundational early years of 1st–2nd grade for 7 years in a private classical Christian school.

“A good life is a Godly life. A life lived for Christ with an eternal perspective.” It is an honor to work within the wonderful family at Caritas whose purpose is to direct children in discovering truth, create beauty, and love the good. The pursuit of these foundational truths naturally leads to Godly living. How blessed to be a part of a family that grows fruit in the day-to-day task of learning that blooms with the fragrance of these virtues.

A little bit about me personally: I have three lovely daughters—Cosette, Emeline, and Genevieve. All my girls have attended a Christian school K–6. I’ve homeschooled the older girls 7th–9th grade. We love all things French. I think their names may have disclosed our Francophile obsessions. We love to read great literature, camp in the woods, whittle swords, play games, dance to Elvis Presley, play tennis, collect bugs, cycle, and visit grandparents.
