LEADERSHIP TEAM/PEER COACH

B. A. in Elementary Ed. with Early Childhood Ed., Arizona State University

Teaching young children as a classroom teacher for four years in grades K-2 at Caritas has been a privilege, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue to be part of the Caritas staff in this new role as Peer Coach. I plan to use my 35+ years of teaching experience to support the Caritas staff as they continue to hone their craft. We will engage in this pursuit together through professional development and one-on-one instructional coaching.

My husband Scott and I have been married for 37 years. We are both Phoenix natives and even attended the same schools K–12th grade. We have two grown sons. One son lives out of state with his wife and our first grandson; the other lives in the area and will be married in September of 2023. We have been members of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship in Chandler since 1997. Over the years, we have served in many ministries of the church and continue to serve in leadership roles. As empty-nesters, we love to go on summer road trips, eat tasty food, and enjoy quality time together with our growing family. In addition to spending time with my husband, I enjoy studying the Bible, mentoring other women, drinking coffee, listening to music, reading, doing puzzles, camping, hiking, and spending time with my family.
